The District

Curriculum
There are many extra curricular
activities for students at all levels.
These include band, chorus, athletics, clubs, drama, yearbook, school
newspaper and after school enrichment.
The District is committed to providing
programs for all our students in the belief that all students can learn.
Extracurricular and athletic programs
play an important role in our students’ total educational experience. Many kinds of extracurricular activities
occur at all levels and schools.
Whether participating or observing,
students are provided with another opportunity to learn sportsmanship, teamwork
and peer/school support.
The Community
The Town of
Recreational activities abound in the
Eatonville-Mt. Rainier area. In a short
drive one can participate in many seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking,
camping, hunting, boating, fishing and mountain climbing.
The climate is mild during the winter
and enjoyably warm in the summer. At an
elevation of about 700 feet, the town is situated low enough to have about the
same amount of snow each year as neighboring
Annual community events include the
Eatonville Arts Festival the first weekend of August, Community Day the first
Friday of May, a Fourth of July parade and a Christmas parade. Eatonville is a great place to live and work.
